The Sunday Post #21: Week of April 27, 2014

The Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted
by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Well, it's been an exciting week here at Second Run Reviews. As you can see, I rolled out my new site design this weekend. I'm still making some tweaks here and there, but this is the new look. Over the course of the redesign, I am slowly learning CSS. I've also managed successfully to customize Blogger with my newly acquired CSS skills. All in all, a pretty successful weekend.

What's Happening on the Center Stage
No, new review this week. Instead, I participated in my first Cover Reveal! Which also showcased my very first animated gif. Watch out world, I've got new skills and I'm not afraid to use them.

This week's Feature & Follow asked participants to share the hobbies they do other than reading. I've been lucky that I've been able to showcase one of my other hobbies via my blog!

The Quote of the Week was especially selected for my sister who is celebrating her birthday tomorrow. We'll be celebrating together in a couple of weeks when my whole family comes to Iowa to visit me!

What's Happening on Other Stages
  • Ah, Harry Potter and the Battle of Hogwarts. JK remembers.
  • Bob Hoskins passed away this week. And I loved him in Hook and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. His daughter shared some wonderful life lessons she learned from her father.
  • I am a HUGE fan of Mister Rogers. BuzzFeed posted a wonderful video about Mister Rogers and his show on PBS.
  • My husband got me hooked WatchMojo.com. This week they released the Top 10 Angry Breakup songs. Enjoy!

Don't forget about the $25 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway in association with the release of This Crumbling Pageant by Patricia Burroughs.

What did you read or watch this week? Anything good? Something I should add to my to-read or to-watch list?
